W/NW Great Light, Special Light, Odd Light

Some of my favorite light is in the W/NW Contre-Jour thread, but there doesn't seem to be a thread for general remarkable light yet. Share your photos in which you think the light was extremely good or very special in other ways! No objective criteria, whatever light you like or think helped make that photo. The light doesn't have to be the subject (but it can). Artificial and natural light(ing) welcome.
I'll begin:

Although as much about the shadows as the light, these are amongst my personal favorites of those I have shot over the past little while. I always look for interesting light and shadow effect. In fact my nom de plume on Flickr is "Life in Shadows"
