Cameras in the Movies / TV / Media If you are a photographer, it's difficult not to appreciate movies too. In this forum you can discuss movies, as well as the cameras used in them. What camera used in what film / TV show etc has long been a topic of discussion at RFF. Whether the Exakta and 400mm Kilfitt lens in Hitchcock's Rear Window or the Nikons in Eastwood's Bridges of Madison County, cameras are tools which reflect the time and technology of the film.

Vertigo 60th Anniversary Big Screen Showings March 18th & 21st

Tomorrow March 18th is the 60th Anniversary of Hitchcock's masterpiece Vertigo - arguably his best film and topping some lists as the best movie ever.

TCM aka Turner Classic Movie channel is sponsoring selected big screen showings in the US on the 18th and 21st in major US cities.

Go to TCM.com and buy your ticket!

If you are a Vertigo fan and have never seen it on the big screen,
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!

Unmissable. Vertigo is Hitchcock's densest, weirdest, most evocative, personal, and beautiful work. I envy the people who will see it for the first time.
