Please see the attached picture. The lens is obviously carl zeiss 50 2.8 Tessar

Thanks for the info find.

There was a cheapo East German made very basic 35mm VF camera that was sold by the chemist shop Boots in the UK in the 1970s, does anyone know the name of that camera?

I have one, it's a Boots Bierette. Not a bad little camera if I remember.

I did find out what that mystery DDR camera was that was sold at Boots in the UK in the 70s, it was a Beier Beirette.

The belmira is a super cool rf! Don't compare it to fsus...
It's well made, has a unique Film advance lever and the shutter release
Is on the front.. just like in modern dslrs.
