disturbing news about a rff member...

Its Stewart McBride, aka Sparrow. His wife posted this message on another forum,

"Stewart has asked me to let all his good friends know that he is in hospital at the moment and isn't very well. He is struggling with his breathing and is very weak, unfortunately there isn't a lot that the doctors can do for him. I will try to keep you updated on his progress. Thanks Cathy"

stewart is a great wit (i like it anyway) and one of those internet friends that we rarely get to meet in person...i find this news upsetting as i had no idea he was not feeling well so this is a surprise.
i'm not a religious guy but for those that are, i'm sure a prayer or 2 would not hurt...

Thanks for the update, and I'm sorry to hear that. He is one of the members that sent me something I needed or I sent something to him. Just an easy nice guy.

Stewart's ready wit has often cheered up a dull day.

Best wishes from south of Watford Gap for a full recovery to good health.

For those who might take some comfort in listening to Stewart's waggish Sparrow-voice on a subject that clearly means a lot to him, and should matter to most of us, spend some time reading his conversational jottings on "the dark arts of composition" on ipernity here:
