I once saw a gal at Shinjuku Station in Tokyo with a T-shirt that read "Person for Men." I never quite figured that one out - more than likely, neither did she...TW

My favorite was a recent offering:

NSA: The only government agency that truly listens.

The NSA went after the folks making/selling them and I have not seen them since.

I have a huge collection of t-shirts with an assortment of sayings, movie/tv quotes and other cool and nerdy things on them. Picking one would be nearly impossible.

Currently, I'd say it's probably one of my Doctor Who shirts, "The Angels have the phonebox"...

But many years ago it was, a "DRUGS SUCK" shirt that I wore ironically. I never got so many rude comments from strangers who did not get that it was ironic.

THIS T-SHIRT INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK

and

BEEN THERE
DONE THAT
THIS IS THE T-SHIRT

There are lots of good T-shirts at http://www.redmolotov.com/ -- I generally buy three a year, during the sales, when you get three-for-two.

Cheers,

R.

Since I do wildlife photos, I have always been partial to:

"Is that your final answer?"

Used to wear that when it was test week at the school I worked.

Also: "Chaos, panic, disaster: I think my work here is done!"

And: "The liver is evil, it must be punished!"

Best: "A little whiskey makes me frisky"

I have a shirt that reads, "It's not weird enough for me yet, baby...."

A friend once told me that it is a quote from a book by Hunter S. Thompson. I don't know if that is true or not. I like to wear it every now and then while out street shooting.

When i taught at a middle school, a big favorite was Bart Simpson. One common slogan was "Don't have a cow, man!" My favorite was, "I didn't do it, you didn't see me do it, nobody can prove anything."

With best regards,

You should live in Japan, there are some hilarious t-shirts here. I saw a pair of little girls wearing "Porno Star" shirts (yes, they do come in kid's sizes). An old woman at a bus stop was wearing a shirt which said "Sweet body of fascination", and I saw a high school student wearing a shirt with a picture of a smiling Snoopy which said "Snoopy like it doggy style".

I find obscenity on T-shirts or bumper stickers to be pretty offensive, actually -- no place for it, and it bespeaks a certain coarseness and lack of communication skills, frankly. Sorry if I sound really old fashioned. The best sayings are ones that don't have to rely on the crutch of an "Anglo-Saxonism" to make their point.

That said, I'm willing to make an exception when it comes to anti-NY Yankees slogans, and the tried and true "Yankees Suck" is always appropriate.
