Grave Yards

Maybe a bit strange, but I find myself drawn to old grave yards
when out touring on my motorcycle.

Great nostalgic photo possibilities are found in them.

I have been documenting the cemetery, Trinity Church Cemetery and Mausoleum, across the street for a few years. Quite a historical burial ground. Many figures from New York City history are buried there. New management has prevented me from photographing there recently.

Manly cemetery, one of the oldest still in use in Sydney - although it was only consecrated in 1865

Gore Hill cemetery, first body interred in 1877:

child graves - disease took a heavy toll in the early days of the colony
