No mirror used! Instead I used a table-top tripod and a Soligor self-timer accessory on my M6 with 50/1.5 Sonnar.

Testing out a 135/2.8 Elmarit-M lens (the one with the goggles), shot wide open. I'm selling it for my cousin, along with some other Leica equipment, but I may just decide to buy this lens from him.

Underrated lens I think (can't quite say the same about the subject!).

thank you very much John! It was an impressive sunset, wished we had stopped at cham towers ( https://www.google.com/search?q=phan...w=1920&bih=966 ) we just had passed, to enjoy it from there
my company had other plans, we only could view the sunset from the car and I was a bit lucky with the shot

While visiting the National Gallery in D.C, I made several images of people coming and going around this work of Michelangelo Pistoletto's Donna che idica (Woman who points)

Nikon Sam (and a few others) thanks for displaying the creativity to do something other than stand in front of a mirror taking a photo of you and your camera taking a photo of you and your camera.

Possibly taking a look at Cindy Sherman's "untitled movie stills" will inspire others to expand their horizons of what a self portrait can be. I bought the book back when it was affordable but there are many of the images on line.

I lack creativity, so I did the whole stand in front of a mirror schtick. What if I use a selfie stick, Bob?

Kidding aside, I found this article posted last week on NPR's The Picture Show to be inspiring. All the self portraits were taken with a Mamiya C330:

Sorry, Bob, still lacking creativity. Plus, I couldn't find a selfie stick strong enough to hold up my hefty M5. Actually, this photo was taken before Bob's fine commentary.

Canon T90 w/ a FD 135 2.5 "beer can" lens. Tri-X developed full strength in TD-16. That stuff I remember quite well, but where, or when, I took this photo I have no idea.
