Glad to hear about the progress rebuilding, your new start, and the update on your repair business. Way to bounce back from what could have ended so much worse.

Good work.

Best way to check new site is to perform transaction.
Here is my number 6J.....8673E.
Only one hickup is, no function to apply discount coupons.
So, I copy pasted to the message field on payment page. I hope OP will get the message.

Every time I see properly serviced FSU RF, FED-2 in particular, I can't resist

Oleg is a great guy to deal with. I had been looking for a Zorki 3M. I asked Oleg the next time he came across one to let me know. He had one not listed on his site that needed curtains and a CLA. Three days later it was on its way to me. It's a beauty, runs smooth, I couldn't be happier.

Now I'm going to take advantage of the discount and add to my FSU collection.

My Zorki 3M and Fed 2 in green from Oleg.

Konstantin, yes, I see your order!
Just checked, coupon may applied in shopping cart. If you add item to cart and just press Checkout, really, no place to enter coupon code.
You need to see cart, enter code and then go to checkout.
Not good, actually, but I use OpenCart shop engine and can not modify it, sorry!
I can refund 10% to you or can add something for compensation of money and inconvenience! Thank you for testing and feedback!

Oleg repaired a Minolta-35 F model a number of years ago. It needed new curtains and a shutter CLA. He did a marvelous job and I would highly recommend him to anyone for this type of work. I think many would think he only does Russian cameras, but his work was spot on. I still use this model on occasion and works perfectly.

Regards Oleg,

Gary Hill

Just 10% refund will do! No inconvinience after it at all
I did this "test" in the stress mode, via old mobile phone with small screen.
So, I simply can't see it all and most likely missed the coupon apply part.

And back to "test" mode, I received confirmation e-mail shortly after transaction.
I like it!

oleg, so glad to hear you're back in business!

i'm planning to send you my zorki 1d for a CLA, but i'm curious, do you also perform work on industar-22 lenses? i have a copy that looks near-mint, but it has a very tight aperture ring.

Hello all! Just some info: on my site some new arrivals listed. Iskra and Iskra2 and Kiev3 with ukranian logo.
Also an new items - instax film and batteries.
Yes, I know Instax film not used in FSU cameras! But got some film and batteries on local liquidation.
And also added one item for digital camera. Is somebody got Nikon d810? If yes, you may got battery pack for reasonable price.

In the summer of 2017, I bought a Kiev IIa from Fedka, circa 1956. It was the nicest one that Yuri had in stock. When I tested it out, I found that 1/1250 and 1/500 shutter speeds gave uneven exposure from one side of the frame to the other. It was noticeable at 1/250, but only if I was looking for the flaw. Yuri didn't have any others available, and the price was decent. Also, the camera looked really pretty. Therefore, I contacted Oleg, and mailed the camera with a 35mm Jupiter lens to him.

As an aside, shipping from the USA to Russia is now very expensive. I think it was about $50 for a relatively small box. When I sent a much larger box with my Nikon F2 to Sover Wong in England, it wasn't so expensive. I have a strong suspicion that a lot of this is political, on the part of the US Govt.

Anyway, Oleg replaced the curtain ribbons on the shutter. The old shutter ribbons had frayed, and were rubbing on metal items during their travel. There was no way to regulate their movement with these old ribbons. He gave the rest of the camera a CLA while it was opened up. The lens had oil on the diaphragm, and needed haze cleaned out.

Oleg returned the items to me very quickly. The camera is smooth - in fact the focusing is smoother than on a West German Contax IIa that Henry Scherer overhauled for me. (The Contax IIa has subsequently been remedied). Test exposures on slide film show that all shutter speeds on the Kiev IIa provide even exposure. The lens came back very clean, and smooth to operate.

I recommend Oleg's services highly.

Rangefinder is working, patch is good as usual on Iskras. Patch on Iskras is square and big, while servise I add a mask into RF for making patch round and smaller size.
