Here's another one from my trip to Kyoto.
I spent a lot of time sitting in some very cool coffee houses!

This is a very popular thread, but why do people take pictures of their cameras with coffee cups? It seems like an odd thing to do.

To me, combining two of life's great pleasures seems a pretty natural thing to do.

Going by the prices I don't think people appreciate just how good the Pentax lenses are. The mug was 50p in a charity shop and, as ever, I'm always amazed what turns up; I even found some plastic Pentax and Olympus carrier bags once...

I don´t like to see plastic rubbish mugs in this wonderful thread.
Maybe sometimes there is no other way to get ones coffee but here it looks very
displaced for me.

Your aesthetic reservations are noted, however it's not as 'displaced' as not having a coffee when you need one

It matters not, what the contents are within.

The thread is about Cameras and Coffee.

Even if the coffee could be supplied in bubble wrap, I believe that would be acceptable in this context.

Vince, now you have two 35mm finders on your camera. Are they both really necessary?

Maybe not - but it looks cool. And that’s what’s really important
