How Not to Repair Lens Video

I'm the curious type and hav been watching lens repair videos. This one seems very instructive, if a bit old.

I laughed, I cried, I cringed, and laughed some more.

Rather humorous watching the bandages appear and then the destructive removal
of the lens retaining ring 'cuz he didn't straighten out the ding was enough to make
me cringe , and he still posted ! Peter

I was physically cringing in anticipation of an injury. Then I saw the gauze on the thumb. I'm glad the video was edited to spare viewers from seeing the actual event, but jeez it was hard to watch.

On the plus side. A relatively poor performing lens was destroyed....not his Pentax SMC lens which made a cameo appearance.
