Visiting our Grandson... 2 years old plus a few months...

you'll notice 2 different sneakers.... Jayden wanted to wear them...and Daddy was in no mood to mess with it...

Thank you, Peter! I hope I'm not bombing this thread too hard with pictures, but here's two ways I found people spending their lunch break in Stockholm today.

Nap in the grass.

Cigarettes and oranges.

P.s Out of the 18mm and the 35mm lenses I got with the camera I imagined I would come to prefer the former, but there's just something about this lens that makes even a wide angle sort of guy like myself reconsider things. D.s

Your images look warmer than my recollection of Stockholm. I got off the train at 2 AM in the winter of 1960, snowing heavily, and all hotels closed at midnight. Finally, some kind soul let me in out of the cold! I was impressed by the friendly people and the theaters played jazz at intermission.

I'm getting my X-Pro1 and 35/1.4 (again) on Monday. Until then, I'll peruse the images of you and others.

I never met a bike picture I didn't like (to paraphrase Will Rogers) and yours is no exception. Good choice of background. I never rode a fixie and probably never will.

It's a strange thing, in many ways people seem more open during the summer but the warmth runs a bit deeper during the (now rare) cold of the winter months. It's just a bit harder to reach. No jazz during the intermissions of anything now, though... No doubt due to intermissions is something people apparently don't have time for any longer. The 60's must've been a great time to see Stockholm, if not for the friendly people, certainly for the jazz. Hope you'll continue to enjoy that camera lens combination! I certainly did today:

Met a random cat on my little walk around the neighborhood today, came back in and realized how phenomenal this lens is. Sharp as a tack, but definitely not lacking in that funny word called 'character' either.

Went out to shoot some street yesterday. Stayed out for a bit longer than expected, but when you live in a city that's on the 59'th north parallel you gotta enjoy the light while there still is any:

It has been a while since we visited or Son and Grandson....

Our younger Son, (Nick), was giving us a hint a few days in a row, by getting dressed, and saying "Jayden" or "Jeremy" ....He was missing them also....

We finely arranged a day to spend a few hours.....

Nick, got his fix... and so did we

Peter,

Firstly- great image. Rather breath taking.

Second- is that a Triumph Dolomite Sprint?! It's gorgeous!

EDIT:: Just googled Lada Taxi. Nevermind!
