Johnny, this photograph of yours is intriguing, not only for the composition and the lovely colors, but the question of where, and in what country it was taken. Thanks for posting it.

Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea
Bougainvillea spectabilis
Playa Vista (Los Angeles), Los Angles County, California

This is from the first roll of color film I have used in my Olympus Wide-S. I like the results, but I think I like the TMAX 100 (TMZ) better.

camera: Olympus Wide Super (Wide-S)
lens: Olympus H. Zuiko F.C. 1:2 f=3.5cm
film: Fujicolor Pro 160S (expired)
filter: Hoya HMC UV(c)
meter: Gossen Digisix
support: hand held
scan: Fromex Santa Monica
software: ACDSee Pro 7 (64 bit)

Looks like the saturation was bumped up a bit, still a nice image of a bizzare place.

Not sure if this was a comment to my photo, but if it was, thank you.

I always edit my photos and have never been a believer of straight out of the camera images. For post-processing the main problem I found with my rolls from photokina was the strange lighting in the halls which gave me trouble to achieve a realistic-ish colour balance.
