Very nice Autumn pictures. The weather seems to be balmy...how cold does it get in Winter?

Peter, this time of the year the weather and temperatures are all over the place. This morning I was wearing a winter coat, by the afternoon people were walking around in t-shirts. it's crazy.

All the best,

Nihon Odori - The Boulevard of Golden Dreams

"Gooz" is a popular delicatessen on a corner of the boulevard. People buy sandwiches and/or box lunches with drinks and then eat outside under the beautiful trees.

It's cold, the sky is grey and nobody cares that it is basically a sucky day; the trees are beautiful! And, that's all that matters.
The young lady is enjoying the view above her. It's true, the best things in life are free.

All the best,
Mike

Out to Lunch, on Flickr. Saigon, August 2015. ...and the times they are a changing... Four and a half year after I took this picture, this location,
opposite Ben Thanh Market, remains a gigantic construction site. As the future main station of a new subway system and of an enormous hotel,
conference center, and shopping mall.

Yumigahama beach (Izu Peninsula), Japan - December 26th 2019

Time for lunch! On the outside this restaurant looks like a dump!

On the inside it looks like a dump too! However, the food is fantastic and the portions are huge. In fact the portions are so huge we ordered one meal to share (with an extra bowl of rice). We left feeling quite satisfied.

All the best,
Mike

When I go to the beach to build a sandcastle I bring a small shovel and a pail. Maybe I need to start thinking bigger.

Actually some workers were doing some off season work to the fence.

Thanks, I really like that one too. Esp. because he was terrified of them the day before. We went early in the morning when the track was empty and he ended up tearing up the track once he was comfortable in it.

Get up early to see the sunrise.

Here comes the sun!

This is it! Maybe not the greatest sunrise of all time but much better than yesterday.

And, just like that it goes from sunrise to sun-up.

I told my wife I'd like to visit a hot-spring town that was built along a river. It looks like she did a good job picking this place. The building on the left side of the river is a public bath house.

Just finished converting my x100 to full spectrum. Test shots with a 850nm filter on it.
