Kodak Retina IIa with Kodak Max 400. This was the very first roll I put through the camera after acquiring it. The Xenon f/2.0 has a bit of haze inside of the front lens element that I was unable to completely remove. Even with the haze, the shots are still reasonably sharp and color reproduction is excellent.

My First Retina

Hi Retina guys!

Recently, due to my GAS.. I went into Kodak Retinas & Retinettes and fell in love with this cameras. So nice, compact and performing.

This is my first one: a Retina Ia (Typ 015)
After this one came a Retina II, a IB (needs Cla) and a Retinette IB plus a couple of not working examples to (maybe) restore

and here is my first roll test.

Retina IIa Ultramax

These were from a roll of PlusX 20 exp. that was in a 118 I purchased. Film was badly fogged.

All scanned on a Pakon 135+. The dehaze control in LR was helpful with the fogged film.

My Minolta 5400 scanner died in 2016. Just picked up a Coolscan 4000 in late 2018 and I'm having to relearn how to scan.

The Retina II is more than a bit old-school for street photography, but the 50mm F2 Heligon holds its own.
