Zeiss Contax Forum for the classic Zeiss Contax I, II, III, IIa, IIIa , G series, and if you want to push it, the nice Contax point and shoots. Some spill over from the Kievs, the Soviet copy of the Contax II/III can also be expected. Plus the ONLY production camera ever made in classic Zeiss Contax Rangefinder mount WITH TTL metering ... the Voigtlander Bessa R2C.

All taken in Havana. The negs were lost for 4 years, and have been re-discovered but the dust is so bad and they seem to be degrading the scanning is hard...

I can't wait to post some real photos in this thread, so far I've only gotten a test roll developed but I'm saving everything else until I get back to school at the end of the summer.

All Expired Fuji Pro 160s / G2 and 28mm Biogon

What really makes the Contax rangefinder shine is the series of magnificent lenses that Zeiss made for the system. I am always amazed at the image quality of those little chunks of glass.

Since I love that camera so much, I thought I'd contribute to the thread.

Some fantastic shots posted here.
I have several rolls to develop that were taken with my G2.
Hopefully I have something as worthy as these to add.
Such a lovely system that is definitely capable when in the hands of some of the great photographers here.

Raid. Your shots make me want to put some color film in the G1. Nice. What film is that. - you live there ? I'm jealous.

Thanks, Ian.
I use film that I bought from Fran Petronia; Kodak 100UC.
Yes, I live there. Today, we have some rain.
The G1 Zeiss lenses are meant for color. [that's where they excel]
