Black M with silver lens? Pics plz

Okay, everyone seems to go on about how "ugly" black m-bodies with silver lenses look. And since I'm considering getting a silver lens or two for my black m6ttl, I thought that I might ask you guys for some "samples" first.

Bring 'em on!

I think Davor is probably English and meant "am I going to get stick". Stick = criticism.

No, that's not what I meant.

I was refering to the fact that everyone seems to think that black bodies and chrome lenses don't go together ...that is, everyone except me.

What I should have said is perhaps "am I crazy for thinking that this looks good?"

Oh, and 0I don't like the m6 with the nikon-lens. It's too big. Looks like you are trying to compensate for something. ;-)

Folks should be more concerned about their photographs than how their gear appears. Pretty is as pretty does, I say! And that 105 Nikkor lens is great, however it looks.

It's a great lens, one of the best portrait lenses ever. Enjoy your time on RFF.

gregg: Nice job taping, looks stealthy and badass. I kind of like silver lenses, but black looks a little nicer to me most of the time whichever color body it's on.

I did, actually.

.
Reversing the Elmarit 90 allowed me to get infinity focus - difficult with an M lens on SLR. The Thambar effect will be interesting for my next portrait. I recently managed to unscrew the head, so another crazy experiment is planned with the optic facing in the right direction.
