When I was a teen, my Dad got a new 1959 Bel-Aire like the one pictured only it was the 4-door hard-top model with two-tone paint.

We had a '61 Biscayne that my Dad had to special order with NO options. Let's just say Dad was thrifty back then. Anyway, I remember the dealer loaned us a really sporty dark blue Impala until our new beige Biscayne arrived. My brother and sister and I were sad to give up that Impala for the beige Biscayne without a radio. Fortunately heaters and brake lights had become standard equipment by then.

W/NW Classic Cars

The Ford was a teenage lust machine when I grew up. In 1962 I would have given my .... for one of these. The REO is a lot older! Bessa R/CV 28mm CS/Kodak Gold 200/natural (florescent) lighting.

Love that Sears car - if memory serves me correctly, it was a rebadged HenryJ and sold for about $1800.
