First roll: IIIG with Leitz 50mm f/2 and Voigt 21mm f/4

I bought this IIIg recently, and today found time to rattle off 35 shots. To my surprise I managed to install the film correctly, and to my delight the results are not bad. As it was a test roll, I used an out-of-date roll of Fuji Superia 400, which is not a film I use these days, much preferring Portra or various Ilford b&w films. Still, the colours of the guitar are gorgeous, and I love the out-of-focus bits to the right of the guitar: the chair and bookcase. It was taken with a Leitz 50mm f/2 (or 5cm, if you prefer). The two trains shot is with a Voigtlander 21mm f/4 with Voigtlander 50mm viewfinder - I can't find a 21mm viewfinder. The shots were hastily put together, but I've done worse.

Leitz 50mm f/2:

I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship...

Gorgeous guitar colours and lovely rendering - I'm assuming it's a Summicron 50mm?

Emile - It would be nice to have an old Gibson like that. Mine was made by Eastman.

Charles - Summar 50mm f/2 - I should have been more specific. Lovely lens.

Pity about the sunshine blowout on the guitar, which is something I would normally take more care over. I just wanted to shoot all 36 shots quickly so I could get them developed in an hour, just to check everything was working. It is :-)

This is my first Leica film camera, and I'm wondering what took me so long. I've been shooting with a Konica Hexar AF for the last eight years or so. That's a good camera too, though.
