Long Shadows on the ground - shadows that are an important image element

Trying for images where long shadows are not just an incidental and minor part of the image but help really "make" the image.

Early Morning, Work Day by Life in Shadows, on Flickr

Bus Stop by Life in Shadows, on Flickr

Red on blue by Life in Shadows, on Flickr

This one is a little less distinct but the shadows help "make" the image and without them the image would be diminished..............

The philosophical approach regarding shadows in photography with some nice examples, saw it a few days ago. Couldn't agree more.

This brings back a lot of memories. King Street had a lot of colour in the 1980s. Itís a lot cleaner now.

Great shot.
