These below 3 photos were taken on a provincial train, which connects Vinh and Dong Hoi, 2 cities in middle of Vietnam. It's quite slow because it stops on every small stations between the rout. Many people still heavily on this kind of slow train to access where roads still being not convenient enough.

Vincent, it was more than a pleasure that you can post photos of different cities of Vietnam here. In fact I did that with mixture of photos from Saigon, Vinh, Hue and Hanoi of course.
I don't know if I should ask Mod to change the thread title to "Vietnam through Leica M"

Recently, during a business trip to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city), I managed to walk around the city. It has changed quite a lot since my last visit 2 years ago. Here are some photos:

Hey Trung! That is a good suggestion. Perhaps you can PM one of the mods for help.

Great street photos of Saigon you have there. Post more!

^^ Back in 05-01-2012 in your series about Hoi An you posted picture #11 . My wife and I were there less than a month ago and I took this picture. Is it possible this is the same Honda (even the carrier over the rear fender is the same ) just 4 years later ! I had not seen this thread before . Peter

Motivated in-part by Anh Trung's images, I picked-up an MP and started re-learning how to shoot film/manual. I couldn't ask for a better place to practice than Saigon. Thanks to everyone for 11-pages of inspiration.

From roll #2:

Leica MP, 35mm Summicron ASPH, Pan 400 w/yellow filter

It was a nice coincident, surely the old Honda 67 had grabbed attentions of many people.

Saigon is developing rapidly. Good or bad you name it. Luckyly we still can find calm and quiet corners there.

Thanks, guys. My 21/3.4 SA lens has some haze inside with a flash-light test. But it seemed to have no / little effect on the photos. I am contemplating whether to get it CLA'ed or not.
