Red face i hate rff!

Guess what I just have done?
I sent a PM about a Leica! No, not for selling one.
Why? Because you guys infected my mind.
And to make things worse, i need a lens on that M2! So i said what the hell and committed double sin!
Sheesh.
Please say i won't regret it

If you have that expendable income, you won't regret it. You can always sell it if it doesn't grab you. What lens did you get?

Does this mean you won't be buying those five Rolleicords/Rolleiflexes and trading me the second-nicest one for my Yashica CC?

TSK.

It is tough to resist here. IM debating spending some unexpected money coming my way on my first M body or paying off bills or saving to buy our first house. Decisions, decisions!

Dear Lynn-
That has nothing to do with me buying a Leica.
A rolleiflex is a Rolleiflex.
LOL.

[And i only consider that TLR mass acquisition if at least 3 of the 5 work well, which I still don't know.]

I will try to make peace between the two old enemies.
By the way, i'm still in a less than perfect relationship with my contax.

Little known fact: There is a small, worm-like creature that lives in all rangefinders. It can sense when someone new to rangefinders touches it, and it crawls up and attaches itself to that person's brain stem, becomes lonely, and then makes you seek out his friends living in all sorts of other camera gear. There is no cure, sorry.

mwa ha haaaa....

I think it is time Jorge started a RFF Mortgage branch ... as the RFF classifieds has probably been responsible for more 2nd mortgages than Fannie Mae ...

Thank you Pherdinand!
Now I don't have to be in agony over whether to go for that, oh so tempting, M2 or not. (And that is a good thing since this have been an extraordinarily expensive month with me between jobs and relocating to Germany and with my next salary still far away..) I'm also already waiting for a nice Zorki from Oleg.

[edit]And congratulations to your new M, of course![/edit]

Cheers,

/Anders

Pherdinand, don't hate, be proud! After all you resisted the urge for a long time...

I'm going to pick up my first M tomorrow, and I'm just 19!

Man -- I got my first M Leica at 47. (But when I was 19, I got a Nikkormat. Didn't know about Leicas then, but I don't regret the purchase!)

Ha, you are officially worst than me. I was heading off to a meeting, someone calling my name saying I was late when Doug's Rolleiflex was listed. Looked at every picture, thought, I have to, clicked the send PM button, then decided NO!!!!

Glad you didn't make the same mistake I did Pherdi.
