Found in my parts box

I found a Canon clamp-on hood today while going through my parts box and was wondering if anybody knows what I have?

The hood which unscrews from the series adapter is marked T-60 while the clamp-on adapter is marked Canon Japan 60mm.

Everything is good except for a few scuff marks.

Your hood is usable on 85/1.5, 85/1.8, 100/2, among others.

It sells for $25-$35 on ebay. I may have two of them. It is a very useful hood.

That's a W-50, Raid. The one I'm wondering about is a push on wide-ange lens hood, 60mm diameter.

Thanks,

Roland.

The W-60 hood probably fits some FL lenses then. A lot of the hoods during that time can be used on Canon's range of FL lenses too.

Cheers,

The W, S, and T 60 lenses were indeed made for Canon FL lenses. FL, for those who do not know it, was the precursor to the FD mount Canon SLR lenses. W is 'wide', S is 'standard' and T is 'tele'. 60 refers to the outside lens diameter, since they fit over the top of the lens. Most of these lenses were made to take a 58mm filter, hence a 60mm slip-on lens hood.

Do not buy them. I want them all to myself.
