Volna 9 lens on Leica M3 or M6

Hello,

I hope this finds all of you well.

Here is my question...
Can I use a Volna 9 macro lens (m42 with adaptor) on a Leica M3 or M6?

I hope this is not a stupid question if it is please accept my apologies...

Thanks in advance.

It appears to be an m42 screw mount for SLR use. If so, it would lack the ability to move the rangefinder arm in a Leica RF.

You may however, be able to adapt it to a Leica using a Visoflex unit.

And there is definitly a M42 to M adapter but you would have to guess the focus. It probably does not make a lot of sense, especially with a macro lens.
