TT artisan and 7 artisan

Hi, I must say that I'm little confused by this new companies. I like the thought that Leica get some competition in making lenses for our M cameras. The names sound so similar, to me, that I often think they are the same. I know they make a lot of lenses and I've not tried any of them yet. Does anybody used a lens from both companies? I think of quality and feel etc.

As Chinese internet rumors have it, TTArtisan is a splinter faction formed by the former chief designer of 7A. Judging from its Chinese name "TT" probably means "The True (Artisan)".

Apparently they outsource to the same factory so you still get the same stuff.

TT always reminds me of the Tourist Trophy races at the Isle of Man.
