Blaues Wunder

The "Blue Wonder" Bridge over the Elbe river in Dresden. The bridge got its name from the blue paint and the technical sensation of building it at the end of the 19th century.
Hasselblad XPan, 5,6/30mm, Kodak Elitechrome 100. Scanned with the Minolta Elite 5400 II and stitched.

For example the Mamiya 7II is not a panorama camera, but use the 35mm adapter and now the aspect ratio of the image makes it “panoramic”.

Having watched the thread for some time I have seen several techniques used to create panoramic images including multi-image posts. Cheers, jc

The thread is in the 'Classic Film Rangefinders & Other Classics' section. I assume that means the thread author isn't looking for digital stitched images?

I'll just quote what the thread started said

This is not a quote from the start of the thread but a addition sometime later. The original first post just said "Post your panorama shots".

No matter, I bow to the intent of the OP and have removed the image. Cheers, jc

Shot with a 1925 ICA Polyscop.

This company closed last year in the town I live, Peoria Illinois. They used to sell dynamite for coal mines. Not anymore. They closed up shop in 2017 after 127 years of business.

A 3-shot panorama using a Rolleiflex, Ektar 100 and the Panoramic head.
From summer holidays 6 months past despite feeling more like 5 minutes ago.

Merged into a single shot digitally (but only to match colour across all 3 shots., the Rolleipano works as intended.)

(Not a panoramic camera but always intended to be a panoramic shot on film.)

I didn't knew this camera. What I found out is that this is stereoscopic camera which could shoot panos as well. On what kind of material do you take the images as the cameras seem to use a quite exotic plate format (6x13cm or 45x107mm depending on the model)?

Hey snaefell - luckily somebody nice modified mine to take 120 film instead of plates! Otherwise it would be sitting on a shelf to this very day I am sure.

These are beautiful cameras, not really cheap, but also not super expensive (at least compared to other panorama cameras). Luckily for me rollfilm holders for these are rare, so I don't have to buy one

I'd love to see how these conversions or original filmholders for the Polyscop looks like. Could be a way to get into panorama, I've been wanting to do that for mnay years.

I wrote a quick post about the 120 converted ICA and put it on my website if you want to check it out - I only have one pic there at the moment but will upload a few more with some detail shots when I get a chance.

Also there's a great looking Cornu ontoscope with a rollfilm back on ebay right now that I would love to have - maybe someone else in interested in it.

Great stuff, thank you! The Cornu is beautiful, but that price ...

I am looking for something that makes panoramas - stereo is not my thing. This gives me some further ideas. Even glass plates would actually be a possible (if somewhat crazy) way out.

I've seen others take something like an ICA Halloh, which takes 9x12 rollfilm (I think the film size is 116?), a size up from 120, and then put spacers in to fit 120. That's a great way to get panoramic 120 on the cheap. And you don't have to mess with the stereo capability.

Plus they've got great classic Zeiss lenses. Nice and sharp.
