I seems that I'm a 21mm-man:

my second frame:

JU52 von deandare06 auf Flickr

my third frame:

JU52-3 von deandare06 auf Flickr

L'arbre de heron von deandare06 auf Flickr

when I saw the guys with their Nikon D3 and Canons on the airfield of the JU52 I felt a bit underpowered with my tiny Bessa R4A. But this body and lens is really singing......

Helen, you got the 21mm Color Skopar! Excellent! You won't be unhappy, especially how good it is for the price!

Great catch on the platform!

May 1, international workers day march, Havana. This is a ballet troupe, marching right next to a group of sugar cane cutters.

It's amazing how much really good "general photography" is being done with this FL these days. Used to be a special application sort of lens. This is really getting me thinking...

Leica SL 2 Mot and Super Angulon 21mm f4.0 - the second version of it. With the motor attached it could be used as a defensive weapon!
The Maverick was a "military spec" one - no idea what that meant either. Flat green paint and heavy bumpers.

This shot is great; it looks almost choreographed. I'm curious what the event is.

I've been wanting a Super Angulon for a while, but the price is daunting for a focal length I wouldn't use often.

I had the 21 f4 Voigtlander for short time when they were first out and didn't take to it. I really should have given it more of a chance. Mine did show slight decentering that bugged me more than it should have (aggravated by printing full frame). The good looking pictures shown here tempt me to try another copy.

One from my brief time with the 21 Color Skopar. A pig roast at the Jackson Reunion in Osage, West Virginia.

Mark,
It was taken in 2009 when the Euro RFF meeting was held in Barcelona.
It's a small Plaza on the historical and old side of the city, a place where Artist's of different art's perform and present their works, I was trying to get the painter in a certain mood when I sense the wheelchair lady pass by my side. That was it! They cover the left empty side and fill the spot where everyone is on it's own World. Luis with his Leica at far center just made the touch.
Thank you and Merry Xmas to all!

First time I went to Japan/Tokyo was in 1995 - picked up a Kobalux 21mm f2.8 and proceeded to use it. This is from the Tokyo fishmarket, lens was on an old M3 with Neopan 1600 (@ about 1200), processed in Pyro developer. It was a good lens, but very "bulky" and the early version had a penchant for unscrewing the front element occasionally. I kept it for many years - but in the end I passed it on to a friend - who still has it. Front ring is now LocTite'd in place. The finder was huge - bright - but it was cumbersome - and kept getting tangled up with the camera straps.
