Film vs Digital Discussions about the relative advantages and disadvantages of Film vs Digital are important as they can help us understand our choices as photographers. Each medium has strengths and weaknesses which can best be used in a given circumstance. While this makes for an interesting and useful discussion, DO NOT attack others who disagree with you. Forum rules are explained in the RFF FAQ linked at the top of each page.

Film35 (digital film)

Just read about this new kickstarter project:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...hy-experience/

Perhaps you all saw this already.
What are your thoughts about this?
Looks awesome no?

Reminds me of the Yashica Y35 film canisters, or other brilliant projects to turn analog cameras in digital ones,... that once were started but went down again for some reason.

Rinse-repeat, huh?

I would be interested if ... yeah, I know!

I can't find any drawings of what it is, what cameras it's compatible with {dot dot dot}.

I guess I was too overwhelmed yesterday...

Seems like you'll have to make the picture with your smartphone... that connects via the app with the digiroll inside the old camera.

Doesn't seem that handy after all.

I have a litany of colorful expressions about this bad solution to a problem that didn't exist.
