Yes. It has better resolution also. I shot RAW, converted to TIF and finally JPG. Both are pretty impressive and equals my Summicron 35 ver.2.

I put it together, took a screw from an Olympus Trip (!), and it seems to work fine. That "intermediate gear" was actually screwed from the film chamber side.
