The B+W MRC filters have better anti flare coatings than a lot of the lenses out there. I seriously doubt that if you use a high quality multi-coated filter, you will be able to tell its there.

I have been on the verge of ordering a 25mm ZM lens. However, this news has made me reconsider. I think I will either order a CV 28mm 1.9 Ultron ASPH or save up for a Leica 28mm Summicron ASPH....

If I had to choose between the accuracy of optical testing between Mr. Puts and Zeiss Ikon, I would put my money on Zeiss Ikon.

I just received my copy of the book. Indoors under flurescent lighting the B/W photos have a slight purple cast. However, the B/W photos look O.K. when viewed under natural sunlight. :)
