I haven't shot with an XE1/Xpro1 so I can't speak to their image quality but I can't imagine anyone feeling limited by the X100's image quality. Fixed lens? Not the best AF/MF? Sure. But not IQ.

It turns out that the first TVS did have an issue with the zooming. Not sure what was causing it but it did stick significantly more than the second one I got.
