Thank you so much for all the advice folks!

Based on all this I am leaning toward the Rolleicord because of the right hand focusing and a new pair of glasses :)

Thanks Bill.

I develop B&W at home. A lightroom isn't an option at the moment, so I scan my negatives instead. Hopefully I'll be able to build a lightroom when we move later in the year.

Yet another buying advice request

Hey folks.

I picked up a cheap Seagull 4BI a couple of months ago and I'm really enjoying the different perspective it gives me. What I don't enjoy is having to remember to advance the frame (I...

My M4-P has a recessed finder, so is presumably a brass top. I certainly can't see any bubbling.

According to this thread the flare is specific to the M6:...

Whoops, seems I was misinformed :)
Ah well, I'm clumsy and heavy handed so would be worried about damaging the bellows and lens mechanism. They are beautiful cameras though.

Yes, Adam's work actually helped push me over the edge. He manages to get gobs of character out of that lens!

Enjoy your Makina! That was high on the list too :)

I sold a few things that don't get much use so I had enough guilt free cash to spring for a Mamiya 6 MF with the 75mm lens.

It was an agonising decision because I really struggled with dropping that...

That does seem to provide a lot of bang for the buck and it's incredibly quiet. I'm not sure how I would get on with a waist level finder, but at that price I'd be prepared to give it a...

A portable, fast, and preferably quiet MF camera?

Hi folks! I am madly in love with my Pentax 6x7, but there are times when that thunder clap mirror slap is just not socially acceptable. It's also a beast to carry.

So, I've started lusting after a...

Happy New Year folks!

I have (and love) an M4-P. I also have (and like a lot) a Bessa R3A.

From the M4-P I love the smooth film advance, the feel in the hand, the loading system, and the fact it...
