I guess a loading issue, a slight misalignment of the film across the gate. If the film leader is not cut deep enough, it rides too high on the tulip. Or, the film roll is not pushed all the way down.

The only thing I don't like about it is the meter is non-working. At $885, compared to an M3, 2, 4, the price is right, and you get a one-of-a-kind camera.

How is too much developer as bad as too little? I've been using a 4 reel tank with an inch of developer over the top reel for several years and never had any issues.
