Canon 50mm F0.95 Lens

Folks:

Have just been lucky enough to find a 50mm F0.95, complete with front cap and original lens shade, at a very, very reasonable price! The lens is in great condition but has no rear cap. Did they come with one? Did they come in a leather lens case?

If someone out there has a rear cap or leather lens case available, please let me know. I am also looking for the Canon 7/7S leather camera case with the big snout to fit this lens.

Thanks!

They definitely came with a rear cap. A rather unusual three-pronged deal that bayoneted onto the lens, with the word “Canon Japan” inscribed on the back . The inside of the cap could be either black or silver.

An old Canon product guide I have from 1965 says that an exclusive case was available.
