Hello, this is my first post on here,so I thought I`d just say that I`ve just replaced the seals on my XA thanks to Jon Goodman(interslice).I`ve had the camera for about 20 years having bought it in Jessops S/H.
I`ve hopefully given it a new lease of life.

Cheers Dave;)

I have to say that Jon is a great guy to deal with, and very helpful.

He also stocks shutter curtain material that is excellent for those cameras with a focal plane shutter, Leica, Zorki, etc - so a +1 from me :)

Yes he`s excellent.Very highly regarded at Amateur Photographer magazine and forum.
He`s been trading his kits since 1999.

Cheers;)

I sell complete shutter curtains, with bars and tapes. They were made for a specific model Olympus (FTL I think) but the measurements may be just right for some older classic. Please see my page for measurements. http://www.zuiko.com/index_027.htm. John

Hi swanseadave
Great to have you on RFF - its a fabulous place for info and discussion.
I've used Jon Goodman's materials, talked by email to him, and always been pleased with his help and service.
But, pity you are in the wrong part of Wales!

You could try Afon Fathew - that MUST be better than Swansea:D

Come up and see me and the Fathew sometime.
