At least, she loves the covering.

Stick a hello kitty on there!

Actually, that's where I got the idea from (http://www.kpraslowicz.com/2009/03/10/special-m6s/)...

See if I can find a transparent one.:)

That Hello Kitty Leica would look great with one of Tom A's "Mr B" softies! Probably would have been a big seller with the softie, too.

Follow the link and read the third reply from above. He still speaks to us!

I'm 26, and I quite like that :) And I'm sorta blonde...

won't work with brunettes or redheads.
will it?

If she isn't already taking photos, just lure her into photography using that camera, and downplay the RF angle. If not, try bribery. I hear that often works with teenagers.

ooooh I LUV it... & I'm NOT 16
has a touch of pale Lavender to the skin
GORGEOUS indeed!!

You just rang the bell on every piece of security and "Pedophile Watch" software that monitors the internet for phrases like....
"luring 16 year old Blonde....."

Be on the lookout for dark cars with two people parked regularly in your neighborhood.

Nice camera, BTW!

A parent of such a blonde should not even try.

I tried to make my girlfriend come back to film photography by giving her an OM-1n. She likes it and shooting photos with it, but there wasn't much of "spark." She's been sticking with Canon DSLR with my OM glasses.

One day my friend went to Japan and brought back a cute and classy leather neck strap from a specialty camera shop in Jiyugaoka for her. She's now using the OM waaay more often, leaving Canon at home.

Why doesn't Leica come out with a Twilight Vampire edition. Some parts in blood red with Edward Cullen's face on the top. That f****er would sell like hotcakes to young ladies.

Aww man, now I'm getting all sorts of ideas for the next batch of fake special edition Leicas. :D

The camera was well taken.
Also by Ania, my wife, who kindly asked for an Agfa Isolette with this covering. Seems to be popular with the girls - also the non-blondes. ;)

However: first question was: "Does it take b&w or colour pics?" :D

Until now, no dark cars around the house. Is that a good sign?

My daughter, blonde, loves hello kitty but it was only really her friends who thought my Leica M2 was so cool: she wanted the OM2n of my father's I promised her. In the end, for her sixteenth birthday, I gave her a Nikon F3HP. Nothing Hello Kitty about that one, and she loves it. That's the way to get these modern 16 year olds in - old technology, big and serious.

To show her the darkroom later. Ups. More dark cars coming up.

That Hello Kitty Leica is bizarre. My eyes hurt from looking at the photo.

The nice cover is all very well, but she needs to give it a make over herself, and with her friends. Give her your credit card and bite your lip.
