Got one nice Day this Thanksgiving Weekend and took the pair of Kodak Retina II's out to the home of George Mason. These are the Postwar Retina II's, one with a 1946 Ektar 47mm F2 lens. The second Retina II has the more common Schneider Xenon 5cm F2 lens. The second is also synced for flash, may be an aftermarket add-on.

The film in the Retina II with the Ektar was very out-of-date, so color rendition is not well represented. Last roll of Royal Gold 200.

Wide-open at F2:

Second shot, cropped the left corner as it was faded.

The Ektar at F4. Again, old film and figging is present.

I'm going to shoot another roll with the Ektar lens.

Next up is the Retina II with the Xenon.

George Mason, his first wife, and several of their offspring are buried here.

Those are some really nice shots! I like the Xenon pictures best but the one of the old buckets is good too! Thanks for sharing them!

Wonderful Brian. Sometimes we forget just how good they were.

(Redfaced) I remember dumping mine to get a "real" camera.
