View Full Version : Lots more free information

www.rogerandfrances.com is now all free: ignore any remaining references on the site to payment for some modules, which will be weeded out over time. There is an enormous amount of information there, and we hope RFF users will find it useful.

To subscribers: we hope you don't mind, but if it was worth $29 to you before we hope it's still worth $29 to you now -- and you won't have to pay again! (Though of course voluntary donations are eagerly accepted).

We've decided to try accepting advertising from the end of the year. The subscription model made a profit, but not enough of one to be worth continuing with it.

Cheers,

R.

It might be free, but it cost my employer a few minutes :D

Frankly I wasn't even aware of your site, although I do own a book written by you. Wonderful stuff to read and look at. Thanks.

Your book, perfect exposure, has been immeasurably helpful to me, as have the free modules on your website. Thankyou for providing this great resource, and best of luck with the advertising.

I learned a lot from the free parts of your site and liked what I read well enough to subscribe last(?) year. Happy to see this change; it means I can remember one less login!
Hope the ads generate some decent income for you both.
Warm regards,
Rob

Dear Roger,
I'm a subscriber to your site, since last year, and I find the information there worth my subscription fee. Looking forward to reading more articles from you.

A generous gesture, Roger. I'm sure that many folks will find guidance, inspiration, and a grin or two on your site. Personally, I enjoyed reading your notes on the Noctilux f/1 today. A very practical, contemporary perspective on this rather impractical and very costly vestige of our former "ASA" 400-limited photo world.
