Possibly related to Medalist Fever, which I have fallen prey to.

You know, compared to M3 prices, these vintage Kodak cameras are a helluva good deal!

I was just never that cool in Jr High ...or HS. It's so cool that you held on to it!!

BTW, I've been to the piney woods. It's beautiful up there and the fresh air is so nice!

This one was a birthday gift from my grandparents. I'd never get rid of it..

"......you can consider yourself a serious collector if you have at least 10...."

I read that and thoght "gee they are rather candid about the criteria...

And what about the "Stuttgarter Leica" the IIIS?

Welcome to the club!
@ Brian: Thanks for spoiling it! I thought the Retina II (122) or the Retina I 167 were the hen's teeth ;o9
best regards
Des

And those lenses are mighty fine. Cameras made in the day when Kodak was a condenda'.

Your grandparents really knew how to choose a lasting (and beautiful) gift! My grandfather gave a Kodak Dualflex II that he found on the side of the road to my mom. She gave it to me and I still have it. It's really dirty but I should test to see if works.
