Consider me a fan. While I love my Leica and my Bessa, there are certain times when it is impractical or inconvenient to carry a camera around your neck.

I ordered a Olympus XA from Kenmore Camera (I recommend them) and took a roll of Ektar this weekend.

Notice the small American flag by the third mast. (Much Larger photo here (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3544/3420244408_a5590e5b25_o.jpg))

Here's a 4800 dpi scan on a Epson V500 of the flag

The large version is private... I would like to see it, I still can't figure out where the flag is in the original image!

Okay I changed it. I also attached a semi-zoomed crop.

LOL it took me 30 secs to count the mast and figure out where that flag is, amazing picture !!

Aw, just trade it for a Minox. Someone here said the VF and patch are useless and the lens is compromised. ;)

Wonderful shot. That Ektar is amazing, too.

Very nice picture!!!
I was wondering what that spanish coat of arms' flag was doing there (top left).... then I realised it is the spanish navy school-ship "Juan Sebastian Elcano"... Nice to see that ;)

BTW, I just loaded yesterday a roll on my XA... love that camera!!

It certainly was a nice looking ship and it's a great camera. Now I just loaded some Tri-X into it.

I just wonder why I never got one earlier?

I have a short collection of XA's and OM's. I always loved the XA. Just a great pocket camera, good auto exposure and the rangefinder seemed pretty accurate.
