see ya in a week.

Actuall, it's fun - as I mentioned in that thread about members professions, I work with mentally handicapped people. Now, every year we go for a holiday trip with them, so the next 5 days a colleague and me, and 4 clients are staying at a bungalow next to a big lake, and the weather forecast ist good, as well...

You think that's bad, Joe? I'm going to be off working without Internet access for 10 (non-consecutive) weeks this summer. At least it should get me out shooting.

Roman - you want round? How about this? (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php/photo/10073/)

Just snapped this today with a J8. This is a picture of a lens that I just built---itís round.

05-01-2005, 15:03
Do you mean my butt or the globe?

OK, I really gotta go to bed - I'll have to drive our minibus tomorrow, and we're also way off topic.

PS: BTW, did you develop any of the film you shot this afternoon yet?

05-01-2005, 15:07
Do you mean my butt or the globe?

You decide!

BTW, did you develop any of the film you shot this afternoon yet?

No; I'm going to do a batch of 20 films on Tuesday.

05-01-2005, 15:10
OK, but don't forget - 25 minutes for that TMax3200 in A49 1+1.
Roman - over and out ;)

I'll do it tomorrow and Tuesday after work. The boyfriend takes a while to get around to picking me up so I have a change to do some photography before he does.

05-01-2005, 22:06
You mean we're supposed to take photos with these RF cameras???
I thought they were just for show - LOL.

05-01-2005, 23:58
Hey, we can always take photos of lenses and coffee cups !!! :D

I thought this was a crazy idea until I got the last roll of TriX from Black&White Overnight, a film service in OKC. On this roll was the attached photo taken at Trade Days in McKinney, Tx. Now the question I ask you, who would put this rooster in their yard? It is well done, but... :p
Details: Bessa R, Jupiter 8, TriX (rated 320) developed in TMax developer.

The British have a unique sense of history to say the least. Sort of like the South in the U.S. Did they hold May Day celebrations in the FSU? I didn't read anything about that. Those parades were quite a display of military hardware during the Soviet period.

>> may theme
>>topic is round and the letter is r.

Aha. Nice idea, But why looks this thread so lifeless, where are the conributions ?

I thinks it's time to jump in now with one of these tasteful contributions I am notorious for.

This is the ROUND R ear end of the hairwashing lady which is my avatar too.

Tho I did not dare to choose a natural person's photo for this photo (should I ?) I find even this statue to be an inspiring and encouraging may theme, especially for all the old farts here in the forum, to whom I count myself too. :D

05-05-2005, 07:10

Bertram, the thread is meant to be for pictures taken this month (May), and I think joe only told us what the theme was late on Sunday (European time), so what do you expect? The photographs have to be taken, processed, scanned, y'know, not dug up from a moldy old archive! ;)

Aaarrghh, uuhh, a complete misunderstanding ! :bang: I thought it should be something related to May, telling something about the joys of spring so to say :D
And moldy or not the pic does that job IMHO very nicely.
I'll better go out and shoot some fat round rrrrred rrrroses in the park now ..........

This is an entertaining topic. The attached shows the level of security this auto dealer has. The wheels are round, the barrel is round, and it shoots a "round". I used the new Kodak BW400CN and am impressed by this film. The picture was taken with a Bessa R, Color Skopar 28, and cropped to a panaromic format.

He's a Retreiver, his eyes are Round and it's taken with the Bessa R (J-9 and XP2 film)
