How much film (in 36 exp rolls) do you keep in your freezer/refrigerator/cooler?

When I find a good deal, I buy a lot.

None. I use bulk film and keep it in the fridge. If on ice, I can forget it

Umm...

About 730 rolls of Reala100 and about 700 rolls of others in bulk rolls and pre-rolled.

Forget GAS, I got a serious bout of FAS last year.

In 35mm I've got 20 rolls of Neopan 1600, 20 rolls FP4+, 10 rolls Neopan 400, 10 rolls HP5+, 7 rolls of Kodak Portra 800, 20 rolls of Fuji Pro400H, 2 or 3 rolls of Panatomic-X (available- if interested pm me :D ), about 15 rolls of Velvia 50 (before the phase-out- also available), a bunch of Kodak E100 GX/VS, and I've not got an accurate count, but somewhere around 100 rolls of Agfa Ultra 100.

There is also some 810 Velvia 50, 45 FP4 & Delta 100, 120 TechPan, 120 Agfa Optima 100, and some 120 Fuji 400H.

I answered (less than 20) before I saw your "36 exposure rolls" qualifier.

I don't have any 35mm on ice. I use it soon after I buy it, with few exceptions.

I do have a few rolls of 120 on ice now, since I don't shoot the TLR that often.

I have one hundred or so rolls of various films in the freezer at the moment but like Lazar I find it tends to get forgotten so it's far easier to have a few of your favourite films in bulk loaders in the fridge ... ready at hand. It also allows me to use 24 exposures at a time instead of 36.

I have 80 rolls of Eastman Double X from a 400' roll, 80 rolls of Eastman 250D motion picture colour negative from a 400' roll, 40+ rolls of Neopan Super Presto, 20+ rolls of Presto, 20 rolls of acros, a bunch of ERA 100, 30-40 rolls of Natura 1600, and some other odds and ends. In the freezer. I am thinking I should buy another 400' roll of Eastman Double X...

Whoa, Kully! That's a lot of acorns for the winter!

I was wondering how to accomodate people like you and Tom A. in the poll choices?!

None..

I keep some film in the fridge, but that's for convenience' sake. It's just a place like any other, but at least I always can remember where I put that film..

I voted 20-39.

Just bought a few rolls of HP5 (finally decided I like it better than Tri-X).
I picked up some Kodachrome 64 (to shoot in my Leica IIIf, which was previously owned by Leopold Godowsky!)
And I have some cheap outdated Fuji 200 and 400 rolls.
Oh yeah, and I bought a couple of rolls of Kodak Portra VC to try.

Anyway, by "on ice" I really mean in a drawer at room temperature.

I buy in bulk but never ever fridge it or freeze it.

The film just matures for a few years.

Too damn many! I need an inventory control program just to track it. I tend to binge buy, store it, forget it, buy more of it!

Only around 30-40 rolls of 35mm. Lots more medium and large format.

Not so much: 10x HP5+, 5x Fuji Pro H 400, ~5x Kodak Portra 400 VC.
But I don't shoot everyday, so it is fine.

About 100 rolls of Kodachrome 25, 2 bulk rolls of Adox CMS 20 (+10 36exp rolls), 50 rolls of Velvia 50, 13 rolls of HP5+, some Delta 3200 and Neopan 1600.

You're in K25 like I'm in Ultra 100!

Great film- one of those I miss the most.

I have about 60 rolls of unused 35mm and 40 of 120 film in the house (ie around 6 - 12 months supply at current rates) but none of it is on ice.

36 exposure rolls? Those go into the miniature cameras doesn't it?

This joins about 30 rolls of AGFA Ultra 100.

Stuff of legends...

Way too much! My wife keeps reminding me that the freeezer in the garage is for items other than film.

I keep telling her "don't worry about it"

217 rolls Agfa Ultra Color
112 rolls Fuji Reala
(3) 400' Reels Tri-X
17 rolls Velvia
15 rolls Scanfilm
26 rolls Efke

OK so maybe I do have a bit of a problem..... And no you can't have any of the Ultra Aaron :D

Back in 2004 when Ilford initially went into receivership, I decided to minimise some unknown variables in my life. Things didnt turn out for the worse but I did get a lot of film at cheaper prices than they are today, albeit that Im making up for it in the electric bill for the freezer :D

This was 2004 but even today there remains a lot, plus Ive added a bit of roll film as well...

I don't know which choice to vote.

I've got 10 50m bulk rolls of APX400, 30m of Ilford Pan 400, and then some regular 36exp rolls: 10 APX100, 10 Delta 100, 15 Sensia 100 and about 15 XP2 Super...

so together about 50 36exp rolls, but about 500m in bulk rolls...

:D They all came out of a local photo store closing down, last day they emptied the last freezer and out came 400 rolls of K25. Sold it off for about 1$/roll. Needless to say, I picked up what was left (150 rolls).

Well done. I've got K64 in two cameras right now.
