After an extended break (long winter, final exams at school, &etc.), Print Swap 12 is here!
As usual, the swap is completely dependent upon user participation; the more we have involved, the more fun and variety everybody has.
Please see the FAQ here: http://web.mac.com/erikhaugsby/iWeb/Site/Print%20Swap.html
The rules haven't changed since last time, but a quick refresher might not hurt. If you're new to the swap, take a look to familiarize yourself with how it works.
Also if you've participated before, let me know who you've been partnered with so you don't get the same swap partner twice.
Sign-ups will be open for about a week, as usual. I'll draw names after closing sign-ups and then notify everybody of their partners.
Joe: please sticky this one and de-stickify #11.
Perfect! I'm in, e-mail sent.
I'd forgotten about this. I never received my prints from the last one despite sending two out...
I'm in, too. This should be fun to do.

I would have to agree! So far we have a 0.031% membership involvement!

So far we have 8 confirmed participants (excluding myself), in comparison to the 14 of Print Swap 11.
As stated before, sign-ups will not close before Wednesday.

I'm in. I just PM'd Erik.
Btw, I think this is a brilliant idea. I know the intent is to pick partners randomly, but have you considered pairing up partners who are geographically as far apart as possible? I know one of the things so interesting about RFF is the geographic diversity. We seem to have about as many Europeans/Asians/Australians as North Americans. I realize that's not as diverse as it could be (i.e. not as many Africans/South Americans). But still, pretty global. Any way, just my 2 cents, or 2 one-hundredths of a Euro. I'm looking forward to participating.

Sign-ups will be closed at 12PM (CST, -6 GMT) tomorrow (Thursday).
I will have the pairings listed later in the day.
Thank you for your work here, Erik.

I would like to participate as well; Please include me in. I did participate last year, and Mauro and I exchanged prints--wonderful image btw.
Thanks
O.K., I'll do it.
Must be the full moon influencing me?

Here are the print swap pairings.
I've also this list in an email to each of the participants, but this will remain as a permanent list.
Please contact your swap partner for shipping and address details.
If your partner does not respond, please let me know.
Post back to this thread with your progresses as well, as it helps gauge the swap's success.

Has anybody progress on mailing out or receiving their prints?
Dear Erik,
I confirm that my print has ben mailed yesterday to crawdiddy, and I suppose he should receive it in two weeks.
I appreciate your efforts in this wonderful project, and I am sure I will join also the next ones.
BTW, do you like Como? it is a nice place, not so far from Milano area.
Ciao!

Last Friday, Jan 22nd was when I mailed mine.
I contacted Bryce for his address but I haven't received any reply back yet.
Oddly, this is the first time I've seen this thread, despite visiting RFF at least daily. The forum is busy enough that I no longer have time to view beyond the first page of "Active Threads From The Forums", and this thread has not appeared there for me until now. I like print swaps; maybe I'll catch the next one!

I can proudly relate that I have received Bob Michaels mailing and will be getting mine (to him) off tomorrow (in the nick of time!). Bob's speed of mailing will be hard to match in future swaps.
Larry-
I'm guessing that we Seattlites caused such a ruckus 2 swaps ago we had to be separated. We can all be proud of that!
Doug-
Expect a PM next time around.
Today i sent mccurleyphoto two prints. A "swap -print" and a "leftover back-up -print" made for a recent framing job...

Expect a PM next time around.Thanks; that's a very nice gesture. :)
I mailed Roger today a print. Hopefully, he will receive it soon.
I mailed Thomas a print last friday.

Niko and I have been trading e-mails since we were assigned partners. I was out of town all last week so I'm slightly behind in mailing my prints, but as of today they are on the way to Finland!
I am mailing him prints from my vacation in Alaska last year.
Hope you enjoy them Niko!
Roger sent me a beautiful color print! Thanks.
I got three prints from mccurleyphoto, thanks ! They were beautiful Alaskan landscapes :)
Niko
I have received today the print from crawdiddy: a great picture, it deserves to be exhibited in a gallery! Thak you, crawdiddy.
Once again, let me thank Erik for this wonderful project: it is a interesting way to swap opinions and learn more about photography, but most of all it is a great way for discovering new friends.
RFF is great!
