Tried panning with my Epson R-D1 today. Here is the result. Let me know what you think.

I like it. You got the panning speed just right. Looks like those two feet at the top of the frame are about to clobber your daughter, though.

This was shot at the same day as the slide picture. My oldest son is into beyblades so I decide to see if I could capture the beyblade in midair as it was launched. Please tell me what you think. Also this picture shows shadows to normal to shine of the same item. I think the camera displays shinny object well.
Thanks,
Chris

Excellent timing. Try caputring that with most other Digitals!. I think the lack of timelag on the RD-1 is a huge plus.

I was shooting my kids at the park this evening. I shoot this photo and my heart instantly felt for my daughter.

I captured this today as my oldest was pushing my youngest on a swing in the park. After the shot I had to tell my son do not push so hard. The shot is cropped from the original photo.

Shot with an Epson R-D1, Leica 28mm Summicron ASPH at iso200 at 1/250. The sun was behind them and low.

Comments always welcome.

Thanks,
Chris
