God damn Frank ... I look at your camera collection and I have this overpowering urge to tidy it up a bit ... but then I'm one of those obsesives who walks into other people's houses and starts re-aligning their paintings etc ... until they stop me! :D

for keith & frank and those who 'case' their gear or leave it all over the place, i keep all my gear in camera bags.
i figure that in case of a fire there has to be one or 2 around for me to quickly grab and rush out the door.

That's what I also usually do. But I suppose there is some kind of dilemma: if you keep it in camera bags, you can easily and quickly grab it, but lenses should be stored at a dry and sunny place to avoid fungus etc.
So I never know what would be best...
