Hello Jason,

Greetings from Leica Store Bellevue!

As per your request, I checked with headquarters in order to determine when the M10 might become available as part of the Leica A La Carte program.

In response, I learned that, while the M10 may be added to the A La Carte program at some point in the future, it is not certain if it will or, if it is, when it will be added to the program.

(Incidentally, for the sake of comparison, the M (Typ 240) was added to the A La Carte program three years after its introduction.)

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,
Steven Holste | Brand Ambassador

In the program, Leica charges $300 more for black chrome vs black paint (when looking at pricing an MP).
That tells you something...
(I by far prefer black chrome)

Would anyone, who is ready to buy a M10, wait 3 years just so they can get a cooler paint job and some different leather? I guess some would.

I would consider ala cart if I could get an M10 with single frame lines when mounting a 35 and 50 like in my M2. Hello, Leica...

Isn't that what the wait would be if you tried to buy an M10 now anyway?
