hello all

i am new here, i tried searching but there wasnt any info available

i got an old sp recently, and the shutter worked ok, but the lens had fungus. in the process of opening the lens to clean it, the shutter kinda screwed up - the rewind knob doesnt lock before a shot and it just keeps rewinding, and the shutter doesnt really go off.

i think there is something that went off or went wrong at the bottom where the rewind crank and the shutter button intersects, but after opening it i cant seem to find out what went missing (as i have nothing to compare with)

does anyone know what might the problem be?

thanks in advance!

I asked the same question a long time ago. I believe it is a very fine hair trigger spring that may have moved out of position.

thanks for the reply!

do you happen to remember, which spring was it? i kind of narrowed it to that spot, the moving piece doesnt stop in the correct position after winding, but i dont know what is preventing it from doing so.

i suspected a spring is missing/out of place, but i have no idea where is should be.

thanks in advance!

Oh dear... this just happen to me :( one minute I was happy taking picture the next minuet it just continually winding and don't seems to cock the shutter as well.

I dont think I did anything wrong or forceful while winding...

the spring that were mentioned, is it located in the top plate or the bottom plate?
