As most of you know, acutance developers don't like a lot of agitation.

But how bad it really is:
Rodinal and an iso 400 35mm film in rotary (Jobo) or put in inverse development.

Anyone has done a good reproducible test on both methods?

Probably because no one here use rotary (contant agitation) system for 35mm.

I myself use a Unidrum and its motor only for Large Format (4x5 to 8x10).

Of course at that film size, agitation method does not matter (not to my eyes, anyways). It does give me a very evenly developed negatives.
