View Full Version : Large Aperture, Fast Film
I'd like to see what grainy, large aperture images other RFF members have taken. In my case, I'm posting a few shots taken with a 50mm f/1.2 (nikon slr) and Neopan 1600.
These look much better as prints, I just quickly scanned the 5x7's
f/2 on Neopan 1600.
Nikkor 180 2.8, wide open @ 1/60th
Ektachrome 400 colour slide pushed two stops
shot under fluorescent light and colour-corrected in Photosshop
Leica M3 + 50mm f/1.5 Summarit + Ilford HP5+ in Diafine
Leica M2 + 50mm f/1.5 Summarit + Kodak Plus-X in Diafine
Leica M6 + 50mm f/1.4 Summilux "pre-asph" E46 + Ilford HP5+ in FG7 Edwal
Leica M6 + 50mm f/1.4 Summilux "pre-asph" E46 + Ilford XP2
Large apeture and grainy but not fast film. I think it was over exposed APX100 overdevelped in Rodinal..
