RML the Chinese tradition of carved stele is extrapolated very well here. Modern with colour quite a departure culturally. The interruption of the frame with the tree as a compositon break works incredibly well.

Jan, this is actually a giant billboard wall paper that was stuck on a fence fencing off a construction site. The tree is real, though. But yeah, though I hadn't picked it up before you mentioned it, it does look like carved marble or such.
