Carl Zeiss Biogon T* 2/35 ZM for Leica M in like new condition (serial number: 15860158). It comes with the original box, documentation, rear and front caps.
I am the first owner of this lens. I bought it new from the largest retailer of photographic products in my home country (F64 Studio) on July 24, 2013 (I shall include the purchase invoice). Immediately after I purchased it, I noticed that, wide open, it front focused by 2cm at minimum distance (if the target was at 70cm, the sharpest point was at 68cm) and I immediately sent it for adjustment at the Carl Zeiss factory in Oberkochen, Germany. The adjustment was covered by the warranty and I shall include the documentation I received from Zeiss (the documentation is dated August 16, 2013). As you may be aware, slight misadjustment of rangefinder lenses (including Leica lenses) is very common, something that makes the purchase of a new lens something of a lottery. With this lens, there is no lottery, as everything was adjusted according to specs. After its return from Oberkochen, it has seen regular, but very careful use. It has always been used with a protective filter (not included in this auction). I don't recall to have ever cleaned any of the elements, not even once. Therefore, I guarantee that the glass is in absolutely pristine condition. The body has no marks (at least I cannot detect any). Focus is very smooth and the aperture clicks are snappy. This lens is amazingly compact and sharp and it's a pity to let it go. I am selling it because I finally managed to get a faster lens (Distagon 35/1.4) and I simply cannot afford to keep two 35mm lenses. Coming back to the Biogon, there is not much more to say, as it is in like new condition in every conceivable aspect.
I shall promptly reply to any inquiry.
I would very much prefer to ship to the EU.
